Privacy Policy

All Around Children, LLC (“AAC,” “we,” “us”) operates licensed childcare and early-learning centers in Northeast Ohio and the website at www.allaroundchildren.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect from visitors and prospective families, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting an inquiry, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and family information submitted through tour requests, contact forms, the Earthy chat assistant, or by email or phone: parent name, email address, phone number, child first name, child birthday or age, desired schedule, payment type, preferred location, and any notes you share about your family's needs.
  • Enrollment information collected after a tour or upon enrollment, handled through our enrollment management partner (see Section 4).
  • Career applications submitted through the careers page or by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, language, time zone, and referring URL.
  • Usage information: pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, forms started and submitted, phone-number clicks, and chat-assistant interactions.
  • Identifiers and cookies: a first-party visitor identifier we generate to recognize you across pages and visits, plus cookies set by analytics and advertising partners (see Section 4).
  • Advertising click identifiers: when you reach the Site from an ad, we read identifiers in the URL (such as gclid, fbclid, ttclid, and utm_* parameters) so we can attribute the visit to the right campaign.
  • Session recordings: aggregated and anonymized session replays via Microsoft Clarity to diagnose usability issues.

2. How We Use Information

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule tours.
  • Process applications, enrollments, and ongoing communication with current families.
  • Send service-related messages (confirmations, reminders, policy updates).
  • Measure the performance of our marketing — including which ad campaigns, referrals, and pages led to tours and enrollments — and improve targeting of our advertising.
  • Operate, debug, and improve the Site, including detecting fraud, abuse, and bots.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including state childcare licensing rules.

3. How We Share Information with Advertising and Analytics Platforms

When you submit a tour request, click a phone number, or take other measured actions on the Site, we share a limited record of the event with our advertising and analytics partners so they can attribute the conversion and improve ad targeting. For lead and tour conversions, we send hashed (irreversibly one-way-encoded) versions of your email address, phone number, first name, and last name to Google, Meta, and TikTok using Enhanced Conversions, Conversions API, and Events API respectively. The partners use these hashes to match against their own records of users who saw or clicked our ads. Plain-text identifiers are not shared for this purpose.

We also share non-hashed analytics events (page views, clicks, scroll depth) with Google Analytics, Meta, and TikTok. These platforms set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies, linked in Section 4.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following providers, each of which is bound by its own terms and privacy policy:

  • IntelliKid Systems — enrollment and lead management for our centers. Privacy policy.
  • Google LLC — Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads (including Enhanced Conversions for Leads). Privacy policy.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — Meta Pixel and Conversions API for advertising attribution. Privacy policy.
  • TikTok Pte. Ltd. — TikTok Pixel and Events API for advertising attribution. Privacy policy.
  • Microsoft Corporation — Microsoft Clarity for session recording and heatmaps. Privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — site delivery and Turnstile bot protection. Privacy policy.
  • Supabase, Inc. — backend database and edge functions for the Site. Privacy policy.
  • Google Cloud (Gemini API) — powers the Earthy chat assistant. Chat content is sent to Gemini to generate responses.

5. Children's Information (COPPA)

The Site is intended for parents and prospective parents, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The child information you provide on our tour and enrollment forms (such as first name, birthday, and start date) is supplied by a parent or legal guardian for the purpose of evaluating and arranging childcare services, and is treated as parent-supplied information under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.

Once a child is enrolled, additional records are maintained as required by Ohio childcare licensing rules. Those records are retained per regulatory requirements and shared only as needed for the operation of our centers and as legally required.

6. Your Choices

  • Opt out via the cookie notice: the first time you visit the Site we show a notice with an “Opt out” option. Clicking opt out blocks Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta personalization signals from firing in your browser. You can change your preference by clearing cookies for the Site and reloading.
  • Block cookies: most browsers let you reject cookies in their settings. Doing so may break some Site features.
  • Opt out of Google ad personalization: My Ad Center.
  • Opt out of Meta ad personalization: in your Facebook ad preferences.
  • Opt out of TikTok ad personalization: in TikTok app settings under “Ads”.
  • Unsubscribe from email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us directly.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): we honor GPC signals on the Site as a request to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Request access or deletion: email privacy@allaroundchildren.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. Note that some records (for example, enrolled-child records) may be retained where required by state licensing rules.

7. Data Retention

We retain lead and tour inquiries for as long as needed to follow up with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for marketing-attribution and reporting purposes. Enrolled-family and child records are retained for the periods required by Ohio childcare licensing rules and applicable law. Aggregated and de-identified analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including TLS in transit, hashed identifiers when sharing with ad partners, and access controls on our internal systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us.

9. Out-of-State Visitors

AAC operates in Ohio. If you visit the Site from another state, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
