Overview

Building the skills — and the confidence — for school

Our Pre-Kindergarten program is designed to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten while nurturing a lifelong love of learning. Building on concepts introduced in preschool, every experience is intentional — strengthening academic, social, and problem-solving skills together.

Through hands-on learning, children develop early literacy and math foundations: alphabet knowledge, letter sounds, rhyming, name and letter writing, counting, and patterns. The program also encourages scientific thinking, builds awareness of the world around them, and supports growing independence in solving problems on their own.

Aligned to Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards and the skills measured by the state's Kindergarten Readiness Assessment, our Pre-K classrooms send children to their first day of school confident and capable.

Small groups: 1 teacher to 14 children — focused small-group instruction that meets each child where they are.
