Preschool Program · 3 – 4 years
A play-based classroom where big ideas begin.
Preschoolers are full of questions, and our classrooms are designed to answer them through play. Organized into hands-on learning centers and guided by The Creative Curriculum, each day blends early literacy, math, science, and art with the social skills that make a classroom feel like a community.
Offered at all 8 All Around Children centers across Northeast Ohio

Curiosity, exploration, and early academics through play
Our preschool classrooms are organized into play-based learning centers — blocks, dramatic play, art, library, science, and more — that children explore both independently and with teacher guidance. New ideas are introduced through hands-on experiences, not worksheets, so learning feels like discovery.
Each day is carefully balanced between active and quiet moments, individual and group learning, and a mix of creative and academic activities. Guided by The Creative Curriculum and aligned to Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards, teachers weave early literacy, math, and science into the things preschoolers already love to do.
Just as importantly, this is where children learn to be part of a community — to share, take turns, solve problems with words, and show kindness. Those habits set the stage for a confident start to kindergarten.
Small groups: 1 teacher to 12 children — small enough for individual attention, social enough to thrive.

Preschool questions, answered
Is preschool play-based or academic?
Both. We use a play-based approach where early literacy, math, and science are woven into hands-on activities and learning centers — the way young children learn best.
What curriculum do you use?
Our preschool classrooms follow The Creative Curriculum, aligned to Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards.
Will preschool prepare my child for kindergarten?
Yes. Preschool builds the literacy, math, and social foundations that our Pre-K program then sharpens into full kindergarten readiness.
Do you offer full-day and part-time schedules?
Yes — full-time and part-time (2- or 3-day) options are available so you can choose what fits your family.
